Here at JP Media Lab, we don't believe in hassling our clients with extended, time-based contracts (or contracts of any kind, really). We don't think it's fair to our clients if they are locked in to any kind of long-term arrangement with us. We want our clients to feel they are with us because they want to be with us - not because they're forced to for any amount of time.

Our peers do not agree with us. They think it's a bad business decision, and that we are giving up on basic-level protections and financial stability. We don't think so. If you're a client of ours, you can upgrade or downgrade your website plan at any time without ever having to contact us. You can cancel whenever you want. It's all up to you - you're in complete control.

Part of this disagreement between us and other web design companies might be that they don't have a product that they believe in as much as we do. We know that this sounds very presumptuous of us, but we really do believe in our products and services enough to let term contracts go out the window. We know from experience that our clients will stay with us if they can. If they can't, that most likely means they are going through a more difficult financial time, and we completely understand and support their decision to put their online advertising on hold for however long it takes for them to feel comfortable again.

Of course, there are always clients who want a contract to feel safer. These contracts don't lock our clients in to time-based agreements either. They simply spell out what we'll do, and how much it is. Some of our clients need this in order to feel safe dealing with any kind of company - especially after getting burned in the past. We don't blame them. We'll create a contract if they ask us to - whatever it takes for there to be trust and integrity from the start.

Putting our clients in control of their JP Media Lab's products and services creates immediate trust between us and our clients. To us, there's simply no other way to do business. If you have any questions or concerns, don't hesitate to contact us or leave a comment below.

Thanks,

SEO stands for search engine optimization. SEO is the process of improving the volume and quality of traffic to a website from search engines via "natural" ("organic" or "algorithmic") search results. Typically, the earlier a site appears in the search results list, the more visitors it will receive from the search engine. SEO may target different kinds of search, including image search, local search, and industry-specific vertical search engines.

As an Internet marketing strategy, SEO considers how search engines work and what people search for. Optimizing a website primarily involves editing its content and HTML coding to both increase its relevance to specific keywords and to remove barriers to the indexing activities of search engines.

Because effective SEO may require changes to the HTML source code of a site, SEO tactics may be incorporated into web site development and design. The term "search engine friendly" may be used to describe website designs, menus, content management systems and shopping carts that are easy to optimize.

Spartanburg District 4
